Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China increases by 42.5 percent

Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China increased by 42.5 percent. The National Statistical Committee provided such data for the first half of 2024.

In the first six months, trade turnover between the countries reached $3.17 billion. For the same period in 2023, it amounted to more than $2.2 billion.

In January-June, the Kyrgyz Republic imported goods from China for $3.12 billion. Including:

• Household appliances — for $1 billion;
• Cars — for $627 million;
• Electronics — for $112 million.

During the specified period, China exported goods from Kyrgyzstan worth $48 million. Including:

• Ore, slag and ash — for $21 million;
• Oil — for $8.6 million;
• Fruits — for $2.5 million.
