Meerim Zhumanazarova is the youngest Olympic Games medalist among all the athletes from Kyrgyzstan, who won medals at the Games.

This is the athlete’s second Olympics. In 2021, in Tokyo, she took third place and a bronze medal at the age of 21. At the age of 24, Meerim Zhumanazarova won silver at the Games in Paris.

Meerim Zhumanazarova is the first Kyrgyzstani to win two Olympic medals.

She was born on November 9, 1999, in Pervomayskoye village, Talas region.
