The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) said that all unmanned aerial reconnaissance and combat vehicles, including Bayraktar, which are in service, are available and were not damaged.

The security services noted that the UAVs are ready to fulfill their tasks.

«Today, August 14, training tests of a new type of tactical mini-drone were conducted at the training ground in Balykchy, which crashed to the ground and caught fire while landing at the airport in Tamchy, Issyk-Kul Region,» the SCNS said.

No one was injured. Work is currently conducted to clear the airport from the damaged parts of the mini-drone. A group of testers will find out the reasons for the crash.

Earlier it was reported that an UAV crashed near the airport in Tamchi village, Issyk-Kul region. The area was cordoned off. Bayraktar UAVs have been seen in this area many times before.
