A minivan and a heavy truck collided in At-Bashy district of Naryn region, killing the driver and passengers of the first car at the scene. A reader informed 24.kg news agency and sent a video from the road accident site.
According to him, it was a head-on collision.
Baikazy Aitikul uulu, head of the press service of the Main Traffic Safety Department, told 24.kg news agency that Honda Stepwgn and Howo truck collided on August 13 at about 4.05 p.m. at the 378th kilometer of Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart highway.
According to preliminary data, the 22-year-old driver of the minivan drove into the oncoming traffic lane, which resulted in the accident. All the collected materials were transferred to the investigative service for further proceedings.
Baikazy Aitikul uulu added that the department has a WhatsApp helpline number, where citizens can send photos or videos of traffic violations, after which the traffic police will immediately take appropriate measures.
