Kyrgyzstan received $238.7 million in remittances from individuals in June. The National Bank’s report for the first half of the year says.
According to its data, $223 million were transferred from the following CIS countries:
At least $15.5 million were transferred to the Kyrgyz Republic from non-CIS countries: from the USA — $5.6 million, Turkey — $1.3 million, from other countries — $8.6 million.
The total outflow of funds in June was $34.7 million. About $30 million of this amount were sent to the CIS countries, the main part — $29.2 million — to Russia. $4.6 million were transferred to non-CIS countries, $4.4 million of them were transferred to Turkey.
The balance, which reflects the difference between inflows and outflows, is $204 million and is positive.
