The Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) will buy a CT scanner for the educational and medical complex in Batken. The state procurement portal says.
It plans to spend 52 million soms on this. The equipment should be delivered to Batken.
Construction of the complex was announced in 2022. Then President Sadyr Japarov laid a capsule for the future building. It was noted that the center will be built as a multidisciplinary medical and diagnostic hospital equipped with modern equipment, an X-ray room, ultrasound device, magnetic resonance tomography, ECG. A 200-seat conference hall, a dormitory for 200 students, and a day hospital for 500 patients will be built. At least 90 medical specialists will be employed.
The estimated cost of the project is 603.5 million soms.
