Batken resident distributes extremist materials on social media

A citizen, who distributed extremist materials, has been detained. The press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Batken region reported.

According to it, the 30-year-old resident of Batken region distributed extremist and terrorist materials of the banned organization Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan on social media.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 332 «Production, distribution of extremist materials» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. An investigation is underway.
