The loan portfolio of clients of the banking sector is 281.1 billion soms. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan provided the data as of June 30, 2024.
The loan portfolio has reportedly increased by 9 percent since the beginning of the year.
Loans for industry amounted to 12.4 billion soms (a decrease of 7.2 percent); agriculture — 46.1 billion (an increase of 9.1 percent); trade — 77.5 billion (an increase of 4.6 percent); construction — 13.5 billion (an increase of 13.3 percent); mortgage — 32.6 billion (an increase of 8.7 percent); other loans — 31.5 billion (an increase of 3.5 percent).
Consumer loans amounted to 67.5 billion soms (an increase of 20.9 percent).
According to the National Bank, the overdue loans amounted to 7.2 billion soms, having increased by 0.8 billion (12.1 percent) since the beginning of the year.
The level of dollarization of the loan portfolio of the banking sector reached 21.1 percent.
