At least 78 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are in Sakharovo temporary detention center for foreigners in Moscow. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, a meeting with citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who had previously complained about the violation of their rights in the center, took place. They were asked to submit an application for the relevant work. However, the Kyrgyzstanis did not provide supporting documents and information.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that employees of the Consular Department of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia regularly visit Sakharovo center to protect the rights and legitimate interests of Kyrgyzstanis. The last visit took place on July 25.
Earlier, a meeting was held with the management of the center, where further cooperation and interaction with the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan on issues of ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of compatriots and their speedy return to their homeland were discussed. The Kyrgyzstanis, who are currently being held in Sakharovo center, have been provided with consular and legal advice and have received answers to all their questions.
