Kyrgyzstani Zholaman Sharshenbekov lost to Japanese wrestler Kenichiro Fumita in the semi-finals of the Olympic Games.

In the semi-finals, Zholaman Sharshenbekov lost to the Japanese athlete with a score 4:3. Earlier, the Kyrgyzstani defeated Kazakhstani Aidos Sultangali in the 1/8 finals. And in the 1/4 finals, he defeated Razvan Arnaut from Romania.
