Current issues of customs regulation were considered at a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Customs Regulation chaired by the Minister for Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission Eldar Alisherov. The website of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) says.
Significant for business issues of uniform law enforcement by the states of the Eurasian Economic Union of individual norms of the Customs Code of the EAEU and decisions of the commission, as well as the readiness of customs services to implement the general process in the Union on customs transit issues were discussed.
The participants supported further work to improve a number of norms of the Customs Code and acts of the commission, agreed on the intensification of activities by customs services aimed at implementing the general process of the EAEU on customs transit issues, and agreed on the approaches of customs services to the implementation of individual provisions of the union law.
«It is difficult to overestimate the importance for business of the discussed simplifications of customs transit across the territory of the Union. Our platform is constantly working in this direction, including on improving information interaction between customs. We are ready to promptly respond to any challenges related to foreign economic activity in the current global economic situation, and will always, as far as possible, support our business,» Eldar Alisherov noted.
