Kyrgyzstan has been reducing its butter exports for the second year in a row. The National Statistical Committee reported.
Thus, in 2023, exports of butter decreased by 74.36 percent. If in 2022 Kyrgyzstan exported 5,120 tons of the product for 1,486,279 billion soms, then in 2023 it exported only 1,312.9 tons for 531,700.2 million soms.
In 2024, according to data from January to May, exports of butter decreased by 61 more percent. If in January — May 2023 the volume of butter exports amounted to 1,030.8 tons for 427,505.2 million soms, this year — 401.8 tons for 150,700.8 million soms.
In 2019 the volume of butter exports amounted to 3,632.2 tons, in 2020 — 5,198.6 tons, in 2021 — 4,328.5 tons.
