Gazprom Kyrgyzstan increases gas sales by 26 percent in the first half of 2024

Gazprom Kyrgyzstan sold 263.8 million cubic meters of gas for the first six months of 2024, which is 26 percent more than last year. Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev announced at a press conference.

According to him, the increase in sales by 55.5 million cubic meters occurred against the backdrop of active gas infrastructure expansion in the country. If in 2023 its level was 38 percent, then in the first half of 2024 it reached 40 percent.

Recall, Deputy General Director of Gazprom Kyrgyzstan Arzymat Aldayarov told earlier that the company would increase supplies several times from 2026. He added that the company plans to transfer Bishkek completely to gas in five years.
