The head of the Neurosurgery Department at the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare in Bishkek has been detained. The press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
It was established that the doctor systematically collected money from 2,000 to 30,000 soms from parents of sick children for the services he provided.
The head of Neurosurgery Department was taken into custody and placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic. Investigative measures are being carried out to identify and bring to criminal responsibility other people involved.
