Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC sold gold and silver for 48,271 billion soms from January to June 2024. The company’s Deputy Chairman of the Board, Narynbek Satybaldiev, announced at a press conference.
According to him, marketable gold is sold to the government of Kyrgyzstan, represented by the Department of Precious Metals under the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank.
«For the first time in history, Kyrgyzaltyn began to independently sell gold to third parties at the London Metal Exchange fixing price. This means selling at the highest possible world price without a discount,» Narynbek Satybaldiev told.
Recall, the company’s net profit for the first six months of 2024 amounted to 3.4 billion soms.
