Car crashes into locomotive in Kara-Balta, two people injured

A road accident involving a locomotive occurred in Kara-Balta city at the intersection of Kozhomberdiyev and Frunze streets at a railroad crossing. The press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Chui region reported.

On July 29, a local resident, 37, was driving an Audi S4 along Frunze Street in a western direction. He drove through a railroad crossing closed by a barrier and collided with a locomotive.

The driver of the Audi S4 and his passenger, 37, were taken to the territorial hospital with various bodily injuries.

Forensic examinations have been appointed, and all the circumstances of the road accident are being established. The pre-investigation check is ongoing.
