Swimmer from Kyrgyzstan Denis Petrashov competed at the Olympic Games in Paris, France. The Games are broadcast by KTRK Sport TV channel.
In the 100-meter breaststroke, the Kyrgyz swimmer took eighth place in the last fifth heat of the qualification round with a time 1.00.42.
Thirty-six athletes competed in the distance. The 16 swimmers with the best results will advance to the semifinals.
Denis Petrashov took 23rd place.
Denis Petrashov will compete in the 200-meter breaststroke on July 30.
A total of 16 Kyrgyz athletes will compete at the Olympics in Paris.
