A unified design of cemeteries will be developed in Kyrgyzstan at the instruction of the President Sadyr Japarov. The head of the State Construction Agency, Nurdan Oruntaev, announced at a briefing.

He recalled that the head of state, in an interview with Ala-Too 24 TV channel, gave explanations on the burial sites.

«We fully support this. I gave instructions to develop a unified set of burial measures. This is a normal phenomenon, practiced in developed countries. Our religious foundations will be preserved. We will simply create conditions so that no one stands out, so that it is accessible and inexpensive. We will present primary decisions in the near future,» Nurdan Oruntaev said.

He emphasized that the agency is also considering the issue of reclamation of burial sites.

«Everything needs to be put in order. According to the law, reclamation must be carried out after 40 years from the date of burial. We have many closed cemeteries,» Nurdan Oruntaev noted.

Earlier, Sadyr Japarov spoke out against the construction of tombstones, monuments and iron fences in cemeteries.
