The average monthly salary in Kyrgyzstan has amounted to more than 34,000 soms since the beginning of 2024. The First Deputy Chairperson of the National Statistical Committee Nazira Kerimalieva clarified at a briefing that the average monthly salary in January — May amounted to 34,710 soms.
Compared to the same period in 2023, it increased by 11 percent.
According to her, an increase in wages was observed in the areas of wholesale and retail trade, real estate transactions, car and motorcycle repairs, construction, water supply and wastewater treatment, mining, transport and cargo storage, as well as in the insurance and scientific sectors.
