Foreign Ministry helps 27 Kyrgyzstanis in difficult situations return home

In June 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs assisted in the return home of 27 citizens of Kyrgyzstan, who found themselves in a difficult life situation in America, Bulgaria, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Ukraine. The press service of the ministry reports.

The Foreign Ministry also told about the work done in the field of protection of rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad in the first month of summer.

It is reported that 42,141 consular services and consular action on documenting were rendered, as well as 8,447 consular actions in terms of protecting the rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. Consultations on obtaining consular services were provided to 18,899 citizens. 83 visits were made to the sites of accidents involving citizens of Kyrgyzstan, as well as to law enforcement and judicial authorities of foreign countries. Issues of exemption from administrative responsibility/mitigation of administrative responsibility of 37 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic were worked out.

The press service of the ministry informed that the issue of recovery of unpaid wages of 10 Kyrgyzstanis in the amount of about 425,000 soms was positively resolved.

With the assistance of the representative office of the International Organization for Migration in Bishkek, the issue of evacuation of three citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic (a mother with two minor children) from the west bank of the Jordan river in Palestine was worked out. Assistance was provided in repatriating the bodies of 13 citizens who died abroad.
