The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) signed an agreement with B to B Simple Solutions LLC to modernize and increase the volume of production of polymer products — installation and mounting boxes used in construction. RKDF website says.
It is noted that the company operates in Luxemburg village, Chui region, and has no analogues in Kyrgyzstan. At least 2 million products are manufactured there annually. Due to this, the Kyrgyz Republic’s demand for installation and mounting boxes is covered by 50 percent. The rest of the products are imported from abroad.
«Import substitution, production modernization and support for the construction industry are among the priorities of the RKDF. As part of the agreement, the fund will allocate 42 million soms to the company. It will double its production capacity, completely replacing imports for $11.2 million,» the statement says.
The RKDF, together with the Cabinet of Ministers, is working to ensure that Kyrgyzstan can independently provide itself with all the necessary building materials and not depend on imports. The fund has already supported projects on the production of cement, glass, brick, ceramic tiles, aerated concrete, basalt fiber and will continue to work in this direction.
«In general, over the years of its activity, the RKDF has implemented 257 projects in the construction industry for a total amount of $173 million,» the head of the RKDF Artyom Novikov said.
