The International Institute in Central Asia will host a scientific and practical conference on the topic «Uzbekistan — Kyrgyzstan: Synergy of Strategic Partnership» on July 9. Dunyo news agency reports.
The event is organized by the International Institute in Central Asia and the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of Kyrgyzstan.
Experts from leading analytical centers and research institutes of the two countries, representatives of ministries and departments of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, and the diplomatic corps in Tashkent will participate in the conference.
The conference is aimed at developing and consolidating common approaches of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on the most important issues of further development of cooperation at the bilateral, regional and international levels, analyzing specific areas of joint interaction.
Issues related to the substantive and practical content of the historic Declaration on a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, signed during the last meeting of the heads of the two states, will be considered during the conference.
