Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov took part in the opening ceremony of Bek Kabel LLC plant in Alamedin district of Chui region. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Akylbek Japarov emphasized the importance of the project to reduce Kyrgyzstan’s dependence on the import of cable products. He noted the increase in demand for products in recent years, which makes the commissioning of the plant especially relevant.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized that the price of plant’s products is lower compared to imported analogues.
He confirmed the Cabinet of Ministers’ readiness to provide full support to domestic producers. Aiyl Bank allocated $4.7 million for the project. The total investment amounted to $6.5 million.
The plant currently employs about 70 local residents, and an increase in the number of jobs is expected in the future.
