Banks of Kyrgyzstan received a net profit of 11,074.1 billion soms for five months of 2024. The National Bank’s website says.
The report says that 23 commercial banks and their branches (318) operated in the republic during this period.
The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic clarifies that the total assets of the banking sector since the beginning of the year have increased by 13.9 percent and amounted to 699.8 billion soms. The loan portfolio of bank clients amounts to 275.7 billion soms.
Citizens took out the most loans for trade — 76.5 billion soms, consumer loans — 64.2 billion soms, agriculture — 45.6 billion soms.
