Kurmankul Zulushev resigned as President of Kok Boru Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The organization reported.

At an extraordinary meeting, an expert Ramis Kudaibergenov noted that Kurmankul Zulushev agreed that the organization should be managed by a young, energetic leader and, of his own free will, decided to transfer his position. The former Prosecutor General said that he supported the candidacy of Aibek Abylkasymov, who has been nominated for the post.

According to the charter, First Vice-President Nurlan Maksutov will act as head of the federation. A conference, at which a new president will be elected, will take place on July 17.

At an extraordinary meeting, expert Ramis Kudaibergenov provided information on the results of negotiations with the Kazakh side on the V World Nomad Games, which will be held in Astana. He said that negotiations on the format of competitions at the Games, judges, horses, veterinary requirements, border issues were fruitful, and the parties reached a common opinion on these issues.

Kurmankul Zulushev was elected to the post of President of the Kok Boru Federation on April 19, 2024.
