Payment for travel using a QR code is introduced at Sosnovka and Kara-Kul posts. The press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan reports.
In the near future it will be possible to pay for travel on Bishkek-Osh highway using a QR code.
The head of the ministry, Tilek Tekebayev, visited the post collecting payment for travel through Sosnovka and Kara-Kul tunnels and got acquainted with the non-cash payment system, which is operating in test mode.
He instructed to introduce it as soon as possible for the convenience of people, eliminating some minor shortcomings.
The non-cash payment system is being developed by employees of Production and Innovation Center state institution.
