President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres today, July 2, visited Rukh-Ordo Cultural Center in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region. The press service of the head of state reported.
A concert program with the participation of opera singers, as well as a ballet performance were organized for the guests.
Sadyr Japarov and Antonio Guterres walked along the pier, built in the form of komuz, on which komuz players in national clothes performed folk music.
Then President Sadyr Japarov, as a sign of deep respect, presented UN Secretary-General António Guterres with a memorable gift, the national instrument — komuz.
