The All-Russian Special Olympics Swimming Championship for people with Down syndrome «Let’s Win Together» was held in Kazan on June 24-29. The Swimming Federation for Disabled People of Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency.
Athletes from Kyrgyzstan, under the leadership of coach Islam Turdyev, won six gold medals, as well as one silver and one bronze. In addition, the Kyrgyz Republic won four gold, a silver and three bronze medals in the relay.
Nurak uulu Aknazar became the absolute champion in the 50-meter freestyle.
