Akylbek Japarov tells U.S. companies about investment climate in Kyrgyzstan

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov received a business mission from the United States, organized through the U.S.-Kyrgyzstan Business Council. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

At the meeting, the parties discussed measures to further develop and strengthen the partnership between the business communities of Kyrgyzstan and the United States, with an emphasis on the areas of interbank, investment cooperation, digitalization and energy.

Akylbek Japarov noted that in April 2024, during a working trip to the United States, he invited representatives of American business to visit the Kyrgyz Republic on an inception visit.

He told representatives of U.S. companies about the investment climate in the republic, the policy pursued by the country’s leadership to create a favorable environment for opening and doing business in Kyrgyzstan.

Representatives of American enterprises expressed interest in contributing to the expansion of business ties between the two countries. The meeting was attended by representatives of such companies as Abbott, a world leader in the production of medical and diagnostic equipment, Coca-Cola, OpenWay, a global supplier of recognized solutions for digital payments, and others.
