Some gas stations in the capital do not have liquefied gas. A reader reported to 24.kg news agency and sent a video from one of the gas stations.

The footage shows about 10 cars standing in line at the station.

Bishkek Petroleum gas station network told 24.kg news agency that problems with gas began on June 25. Today, June 27, there is no gas at any of the gas stations of the network. «Currently, gas is available only at some gas stations in Issyk-Kul and Talas regions,» Bishkek Petroleum added.

Gazpromneft company told that they have no problems with gas supplies. Only their gas stations are provided with fuel, hence the queues.

In turn, the head of the Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan, Kanatbek Eshatov, explained to 24.kg news agency that gas shortage in the country is caused by the absence of tank cars on the Russian railway.

«There are contracts with the factories, and they are ready to ship autogas at any time. The tank cars have already crossed the Russian-Kazakh border and the issue will be resolved within a week,» he added.
