It is planned to open a museum of the Russian Drama Theater named after Chingiz Aitmatov in Kyrgyzstan. The portal of Russian World Foundation reported.
According to it, a separate exposition will be dedicated to the actors, who performed for the soldiers in art brigades during the Great Patriotic War. Russian specialists are planned to be involved in the project.
According to an artist Galina Ketova, the theater dates back to 1935. Its troupe included stage legends, People’s Artists of the USSR Nina Litovtseva and Vasily Orlov.
Galina Ketova noted that she has already contacted the St. Petersburg Bureau of Museum Stenography, which will deal with drawing up the budget and preparing the material.
It is assumed that the museum will be located in the foyer in front of the main stage, which offers a beautiful view of Oak park. The museum is being created using the funds from patrons of the Russian Drama Theater.
