Mikhail Prokopenko, two-time world champion, Chairman of the Presidium of the Federation of Modern Pentathlon, head of the National Teams Department of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of Belarus, arrived in Kyrgyzstan for an official visit. The Pentathlon Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The sports organizations of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus have good relations of mutually beneficial cooperation. Over the past six years, foreign athletes have been constantly holding training camps in Issyk-Kul region.
An agreement was signed on June 20 in the republic between the federations of the two states aimed at further development of modern pentathlon.
