Money to be allocated for summer holidays for children from low-income families

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan increased the amount of funding for organizing summer holidays for children from low-income families, with illnesses, and orphans. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The corresponding decision was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.

The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration was instructed to organize annually in the summer the recreation, rehabilitation and occupation of children from low-income families, children with disabilities, children under guardianship, in foster families, orphans, children with illnesses, and those in need of special conditions of upbringing, as well as children in difficult life situations.

According to the order, 15 million soms will be allocated for organizing summer holidays for children. Previously, 5 million soms were allocated annually for these purposes.

Every year, children will be sent to Altyn-Balalyk Health and Rehabilitation under the presidential administration.

During a meeting of the republican headquarters for organizing summer holidays for children in 2023, it was decided to cover the largest number of children in difficult life situations, and in connection with this, increase the amount of funding from the republican budget.
