Veterinary clinic opened in Ala-Buka district

Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Nurlanbek Shakiev took part in the opening of a veterinary clinic in Airy-Tam village, Ala-Buka district of Jalal-Abad region. The press service of the Parliament reported.

The Speaker donated 200,000 soms to the veterinary clinic from his reserve fund. The project on its construction was implemented through ARIS, its cost reached 4.1 million soms.

According to the press service of the Parliament, at the ceremony Nurlanbek Shakiev noted that most of the population of Kyrgyzstan is engaged in livestock breeding.

«It is necessary to pay special attention to the state of veterinary medicine and step up efforts to prevent animal diseases. I am confident that today’s opening of the veterinary clinic will contribute not only to the elimination of diseases among animals, but also to the improvement of the health of citizens. After all, there is a saying: «If a doctor treats a person, then a veterinarian treats all mankind,» the Speaker said.
