The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan announced the extension of the moratorium on tax inspections at markets and mini-markets in accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The moratorium, which will be in effect until January 1, 2025, is aimed at supporting and creating favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
The ban on inspections concerns the use of electronic consignment notes at markets and mini-markets. During this period, the State Tax Service will not conduct inspections and will not impose administrative fines for non-application of electronic consignment notes.
For entrepreneurs engaged in retail trade in markets and mini-markets, simplifications have been introduced with regard to the application of electronic consignment notes. They are exempted from recording the balance of goods and writing them off when selling to the population. The only requirement is to register in the electronic consignment notes system to purchase goods from suppliers.
