Activities of a number of resorts in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan were banned for gross violations of environmental standards. The press service of the Office of Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the region reported.
List of resorts, activities of which have been suspended:
- Dalniy Kordon resort in Semyonovka village;
- Smena resort in Korumdu village;
- Belek resort in Bosteri village;
- Solotiye Peski resort in Bosteri village;
- Vzmorye City resort in Bosteri village;
- Asyl-Tash resort in Bosteri village;
- Oi-Keremet resort in Kosh-Kol village;
- Zolotoy-Trebas resort in Kosh-Kol village;
- Ulan children’s health center in Toru-Aigyr village;
- Cooperator resort in Chok-Tal village;
- Cholpon-Ata guest house in Cholpon-Ata city;
- A. Chalzhanov guest house in Baktuu-Dolonotu village.
It is reported that some resorts have already begun to build treatment facilities. As violations are eliminated, the Issyk-Kul district state administration will issue them a passport of readiness for the tourist season.
