International Tourism Forum opened in Issyk-Kul region

The International Tourism Forum 2024 was opened in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan.

Azamat Zhamankulov, co-chairman of Resorts Association, told that foreign guests from four countries — China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia — are expected to participate in the event. They will share successful projects, exchange opinions and tell about tourism promotion.

«This platform is more for representatives of the travel business. We will discuss the most relevant topics of public-private partnership in tourism, automation of the system, marketing and brand of the country, regional development,» Azamat Zhamankulov said.

Joint projects are expected to be signed and a resolution is expected to be adopted as a result of the forum.

The event is held as part of the traditional Issyk-Kul International Tourism Fair. The forum will continue in Rukh-Ordo on June 8. The official opening of the tourist season will also take place.
