Three universities of Kyrgyzstan are included in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2025. The press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
According to the ministry, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University ranks 851-900, the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University — 901-950 and the Kyrgyz State Technical University — 1201-1400 out of 1,503 universities in the world.
Among universities with special status, the Kyrgyz State Technical University and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University are included in the QS ranking for the first time.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology from the USA takes the first place in the ranking, Imperial College London takes second place, and University of Oxford in the UK — third.
The universities were assessed according to the following criteria:
- Academic Reputation;
- Employer Reputation;
- Faculty/Student Ratio;
- Citations per faculty;
- International Faculty Ratio;
- International Students Ratio;
- International Research Network;
- Employment Outcomes;
- Sustainability.
