A new Diagnostic Radiology Department was opened at the National Center of Cardiology and Therapy in Bishkek. The press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
According to it, the department is equipped with modern medical equipment, including a magnetic resonance imaging scanner with a unique cardiovascular program, a stationary X-ray machine and an ultrasound diagnostic machine. The equipment was provided under the project «Social and Economic Development Programme of the Government of Japan».
«This will contribute to the introduction into clinical practice of an integrated approach to the use of modern methods of diagnostic radiology to determine the severity of the condition of patients and assess tissue viability in patients with various cardiovascular diseases. The department will also play an important role in cases of damage to other organs and systems, which will make it possible to determine the time intervals for providing emergency high-tech care to patients with life-threatening conditions,» the Ministry of Health added.
