Temporary restriction on the movement of trucks on public roads will be introduced in Kyrgyzstan from June 1 to September 1. The press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications reported.
According to it, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. when the daytime air temperature is +28 degrees Celsius and above, the movement of trucks with a maximum permitted weight of over 18 tons is prohibited.
The restriction applies to:
- Passenger transportation;
- Transportation of humanitarian aid;
- Transportation of perishable food products;
- Transportation of large cargo on the basis of a special permit;
- Vehicles involved in the construction and repair of roads (according to the issued warrant).
The restrictions were introduced in order to preserve the quality of roads and prevent their destruction.
