Implementation of the state program for the study of history «Koono Tarykh Syrlary» started in Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
At the end of 2022, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on providing state support to ensure the preservation, study and popularization of objects of historical and cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz Republic. Its purpose is to ensure the preservation and effective use of historical and cultural heritage objects of unique value to the people of Kyrgyzstan.
The Cabinet of Ministers has developed a state program for the preservation, research and archaeological excavations of objects of historical and cultural heritage «Koono Tarykh Syrlary» for 2023-2027.
Representatives of archaeological and ethnographic scientific expeditions were sent to the regions for further work. At least 14 groups will work within the program this year.
By order of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, financial resources for archaeological and ethnographic research were allocated for the first time for the implementation of this program.
