Batken resident detained for calls to extremism

A citizen of Batken region was detained for calls for extremist activities. The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the region reported.

According to it, the man, 33, distributed on the Internet extremist audio and photographic materials of an organization recognized as terrorist and banned in Kyrgyzstan.

The fact was registered. Pre-trial proceedings have begun under Article 332 «Production and distribution of extremist materials» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Appropriate examinations have been scheduled. The investigation continues.
