Wanted foreigner detained in Bishkek

Police officers detained a citizen of a foreign state in Bishkek who had been put on the international wanted list by Interpol. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

«The citizen of Turkey was wanted on suspicion of fraud. He was put on the wanted list in 2021,» the statement says.

The issue of extradition of the detainee is being considered.
