Residents of Issyk-Kul, Naryn and Chui regions reported strong tremors.

According to preliminary data, the magnitude was 6.2.

According to the USGS website, the epicenter was located on the border of China and Kyrgyzstan.

The earthquake was also felt by residents of Almaty (Kazakhstan).
