Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich named key figures characterizing the development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the past four years. The website of the EEC says.
In 2020-2023, the EAEU GDP increased by 4.1 percent, reaching $2.2 trillion. Industrial production grew by 8.3 percent, including in the manufacturing industry — by 5.7 percent. Agricultural production increased by 11.8 percent. The volume of mutual trade of the EAEU states for the same period increased 1.5 times.
The volume of industrial production of the EAEU in January — November 2023 amounted to 103.8 percent compared to the same period of 2022. Russia accounted for 87.6 percent of the total industrial output of the EAEU, Kazakhstan — 7.1 percent, Belarus — 4.4 percent, Armenia — 0.5 percent and Kyrgyzstan — 0.4 percent.
