Man sells other person’s car for $30,000 and disappears

Investigators of the Internal Affairs Department of Oktyabrsky district detained a person suspected of fraud. The press service of the department reported.
According to it, a citizen filed a written statement on October 17. He reported that on August 14 the man, under the pretext of purchase, took possession of his BMW M3 340 worth $30,000, which he then sold to third parties, and disappeared in an unknown direction.
The investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department of Oktyabrsky district opened a criminal case under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code. Citizen, 26, was detained and placed in the temporary detention center of the Bishkek Central Internal Affairs Department. The car was placed in an impound lot and seized.
