President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov spoke at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in St. Petersburg (Russia). The press service of the head of state reported.

According to Sadyr Japarov, the EAEU countries managed to ensure further integration of the union in almost all areas of activity. The union’s economy successfully adapted to new conditions and entered a sustainable growth trajectory. Food security is being strengthened, cooperation is intensifying, and e-commerce is developing.

But forecasts for economic development in the world are not very optimistic. Therefore, the president believes, it is necessary to continue working together to deepen integration processes:

  • Ensure freedom of movement of goods, labor, services and capital;
  • Eliminate all regulatory gaps and the possibility of using hidden types of control not provided for by the law of the union;
  • Switch to the full use of navigation seals to eliminate unreasonable control and inspection measures and speed up the passage of goods at the border during mutual trade;
  • Fully launch the system of traceability and labeling of goods;
  • Expand the capacity of checkpoints not only on the external border of the EAEU, but also on the internal ones;
  • Take joint measures to develop transport infrastructure and logistics within the union;
  • Consider the issue of reconstructing and increasing the capacity of internal checkpoints between the EAEU states;
  • Switch to uniform formats and structures of electronic shipping documents;
  • Ensure operation of the integrated information system on the new secure data transmission network launched this year;
  • Implement common processes using electronic digital signatures;
  • In parallel with financial mechanisms for supporting cooperation projects, provide effective mechanisms to increase the capacity of development institutions in countries with small economies in terms of preparing and selecting projects;
  • Expand the concept of «worker» and include in it self-employed, remote and platform workers;
  • Develop the work of the Eurasian Network University and programs for secondary vocational education.
