Resident of Kara-Suu detained for inciting ethnic hatred through TikTok

A 20-year-old guy was detained for inciting ethnic hatred through TikTok in Kara-Suu district. The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Osh region reported.

As noted, a video was sent out in early December.

As a result of the examination, a criminal case was opened under Article 330 «Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious or interregional hostility (hatred)» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The local resident was detained on suspicion. He was taken into custody.

An investigation is underway.
