Vendors at Dordoi Motors auto parts market hold rally against the abolition of trade licenses and the mandatory use of cash registers. Participants of the protests told 24.kg news agency.
Entrepreneurs say they are working in difficult conditions. The state does not help them in any way, but now it wants to introduce cash registers. Many businessmen simply do not understand how to use them.
«We ask to allow us to use the license as before. We don’t refuse to pay taxes, but we don’t have time to go to the tax office with reports. Should we work or sit there? Allow us to use licenses and that’s it,» the entrepreneurs say.
Last week there was a wave of rallies in almost all major markets of Bishkek and the regions. Vendors have one requirement — to retain licenses for trade and not to use cash registers. However, the country’s authorities say that they will not give up their ideas.
President Sadyr Japarov created a special commission and instructed to find out whether the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers was correct or whether the demands of the sellers were justified.
