Twenty tons of gasoline spilled into Kara-Balta river. The emergency situation occurred after a traffic accident involving a fuel tanker. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

A fuel tanker crashed into a concrete parapet and overturned on November 21 on the 113th kilometer of Bishkek — Osh road.

As a result, a 28-year-old driver was injured and was hospitalized.

About 20 tons of gasoline spilled from the fuel tanker into the river. The supply of drinking water to Taldy-Bulak and Sosnovka villages was cut off.

The water is being tested.
